Hi Mukul,

Thanks for leaving a comment on the site.

I suggest you purchase some books and read/do the samples within them. Then try and think of a basic app you want to develop and go from there.

I read the books on this site - http://commonsware.com/Android/ And they were very helpful.

Cheers,
Chris.

I use Google Reader and Google Listen. I think that the combination makes for a very powerful and functional product. It COULD be great.

The main problem is bugs. If they had done one more iteration of bug fixes before they stopped working on Listen then it would be a great product.

The other problem is that I also used Google Reader for reading regular text articles. When I press 'mark all as read' on GReader it also marks all my podcasts as read which impacts GListen.

Hi Balkrishna,

Thanks for leaving such a kind comment.

Unfortunately I don't really use or maintain this code any more as I have other commitments. The only thing I would say is that maybe you need a fresher AUTH token prior to getting the feeds?

I hope your coding goes well.

Thanks,
Christian.

Great work.. Simplest of the Google Reader Java APIs I have seen.
One question though. I tried implementing a method getFeeds() to get feeds for a particular subscription using same mechanism as depicted here. But it failed everytime as the returned html contained: "This is taking longer than usual. Try reloading the page."
Any help is most welcome.

Thanks in advance.

We just upgraded last night from 6.2.0.2 to 6.2.0.5 (to fix the 208 day bug before it hit).

The upgrade went fine for the first node (20 mins for upgrade, 30 mins of stabilization time), but then the system appear to stall for the upgrade to on the other node. Turns out that we the service port went back to default (192.168.70.121) and wasn't routable. Had to connect to the v7000 with a laptop in the same subnet and to reconfigure it; only then could we reconnect to the v7000 GUI. Upgrade on second node took same time and had the same issue.

Also, if you try to connect to the GUI (http://[v7000-IP]/gui) and you end up redirected to (http://[v7000-IP]/service) then you may be connecting to the new "configuration" node, as it switches this node to allow the other node to upgrade.

Just a few notes for storage newbies like me. :)
